Beds - How do I sift through the extensive choice available online?

Recently I had been a little slow in the mornings and rather listless much of the day. Last week a friend of mine reminded me of that old remark that you spend a third of your life in beds and a good nights’ sleep is essential for a productive day and general health. Having been feeling a little out of sorts and jaded recently, I began to wonder if I was sleeping as well I should be. I realised that the mattress I was sleeping on was fifteen years old, which is surely too old. I did some research on the internet, which confirmed that a fifteen year old mattress was too old for comfort and a good life for mattresses is about ten years. So I resolved that a new mattress was what I needed, I decided that since a mattress has to be delivered anyway there was no point in going to shop in the high street and that I would shop online. I have been shopping online for so many things in recent years and am a great enthusiast shopping online is cheaper, especially as you save the costs of travelling to the shop, and offer a better choice than the high street. I did a Google search ‘beds UK London mattresses online sale’ and got several likely looking sites that sold beds, mattresses and bedding.

To my great satisfaction, I found that there is a lot of choice out there and the prices are keen. What I needed was a king size mattress and I also thought it might be a good time to get some new bedding. The sites had a bewildering array of options, but some of them were also able to offer good advice, it really is so easy to shop online. I went between several sites comparing options and prices, I found looking carefully at choices that the delivery cost did matter it changed the overall cost quite a lot. Eventually for the mattress, I chose a conventional coil spring mattress and was able to also get two sets of bed linen for a good price. Fortunately, I live in a single storey house so when the new mattress arrived getting it into the bedroom was not too much of a problem. As an added bonus, the carrier was able to take the old mattress away for a small fee. We made up the bed and waited in expectation for bedtime. It was very comfortable a revelation after the previous mattresses I was reminded of the better beds I had slept in on business trips and holidays, and woke feeling very refreshed. Over the next few weeks I began to feel much better and the listlessness I had been feeling quite went away. Do quality beds improve quality of life? Well yes, I have felt so much better and altogether able to face the new day since my purchase, think about a better mattress if you are not sleeping well. This may have been one of my best purchases ever.
